The following media projects, created by the 2022 Koppelman Scholars, contain education materials to assist teachers with teaching about varied historical injustices. Each project includes an overview, lesson plans, suggested language and additional resources.

Media project: Newark Riots of 1967
Synopsis: This guide focuses on analyzing the causes, events and effects of the Newark riots to bring the Civil Rights movement into the context of state history and the Newark riots into the larger context of the Northern and Southern Civil Rights movements, and to develop a deeper understanding of the debate surrounding the use of violence in the Civil Rights movement.
Media project: The Story of Judith and the Role of Women in Jewish Texts
Synopsis: This guide uses the stories of Jewish matriarchs and prominent women in Jewish biblical history as a means to the importance of highlighting stories of marginalized people and how the understanding of stories change throughout time.
Synopsis: The content in this guide allows students to examine first-hand accounts of Jewish survivors to help them gain a better understanding of what life was like under the Nazi regime and the brutality that the Jews suffered at the hands of Hitler and the Nazi Party.
