Rider University launched “Rider University Cyber Security Month” starting March 2025, shifting from a rolling 12-month training schedule to a fixed, one-month, once a year approach. Cybersecurity training is a crucial requirement for all employees set by our insurance providers and GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) regulations to ensure compliance and protect our community from cyber threats.
Going forward, every year starting mid-February and early March, you will receive an email from SafeColleges.com with the subject line: "Rider University Required Training".
Your participation is vital in safeguarding our university from cyber threats. Please complete the training by the end of March to help Rider meet its compliance requirements and strengthen our collective cybersecurity defense.
We understand that these trainings provide generic guidelines. Please see the FAQ section below for clarification on how certain topics apply specifically to Rider’s environment. Additionally, HR will follow up throughout the month to support this initiative.
