Join the Rider University Writing Project for a continuity meeting that explores how climate change education can come alive across all content areas.
New Jersey is the first state in the nation to embed climate change into education across all content areas. This opens the door for powerful interdisciplinary teaching—and we’re here to help you walk through it.
This engaging, hands-on workshop led by Dr. Andrea Drewes is designed for K–12 educators across all subjects—not just science! Together, we’ll explore how the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) support climate change education in every classroom.
You’ll discover:
- Interactive learning activities
- Interdisciplinary lesson ideas
- Practical classroom strategies
- A deeper understanding of the NJSLS climate change standards
By the end, you’ll have tools and inspiration to help students understand what climate change is, why it matters, and how they can take informed, sustainable action—no matter the subject.
