Nicholas C. Carr is an adjunct professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems at Rider University, where he has been since 2009. Additionally, he has over 18 years of experience as a healthcare professional. In his current role in data intelligence at Atlantic Health Systems in New Jersey, one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States, he uses statistical modeling to help reduce the costs of healthcare, simultaneously improving patient outcomes. His research work looked at the effect of industrialization and the impact it had on Jamaica, Barbados and Singapore.
